Dick Lab

Thomas Dick, Ph.D., is Member of the Center for Discovery and Innovation and Professor at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and Georgetown University.

Dr Dick has 20 years of experience in antibacterial drug discovery and R&D program management. Prior to his current appointments, Dr Dick was PI at A*STAR Singapore, established and led the Tuberculosis (TB) Drug Discovery Unit at Novartis, and served as associate professor at the National University of Singapore. Dr Dick studied life sciences at the University of Heidelberg as a fellow of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation where he obtained his PhD in molecular bacteriology. He published over 200 papers in the area of antibiotic discovery, resistance and mechanisms of action (h-index 64, i-index 170, D-index 59).
